Applying for a Police Certificate of Character

The Application Process

On the application form, select your payment method (EZPAY+ or Post Office). Please note that all fields marked with an asterisk (*) must be completed.

 

Using EZPAY+ as your Payment Process

If you select EZPAY+ and you already have an EZPAY+ account, click “Login” and enter your login details.

If you do not have an account, you will need to create one. To do so, please click “Register”.

  1. On the EZPAY+ page, click “Create an account”
  2. Complete the registration form and submit. A confirmation email will be sent to the email address provided. You may return to the application form and login to complete the application process.
  3. Review your application and confirm email address.
  4. Click “Yes” to confirm and submit.

A confirmation email and a copy of the completed form will be sent to the email address that you provided on the application form.

If you selected EZPAY+ as your payment method do the following:

  1. Choose payment method (Direct Debit, Credit Card or mMoney)
  2. Enter payment details (enter account number, card details etc. or for mMoney scan QR code)
  3. Confirm payment.

Remember direct debit takes 3 working days to process, while credit card and mMoney are processed instantly.

A confirmation email of payment and a receipt will be sent to your email address.

If there are no issues, your certificate will be sent to the email address provided on the application 24 to 48 hours after payment has been received. However, if there is an issue, the certificate may take a little longer to be processed.

 

Using the Post Office Payment Method

If you select the Post Office, please note that you can ONLY pay with CASH.

  1. Click “Submit”.
  2. Review application and confirm email address.
  3. Click “Yes” to confirm and submit.

A confirmation email and a copy of the completed form will be sent to the email address that you provided on the application form. You must present the printed application form to the Post Office and pay for the Certificate of Character. You will receive a payment receipt.

If there are no issues, your certificate will be sent to the email address provided on the application 24 to 48 hours after payment has been received. However, if there is an issue, the certificate may take a little longer to be processed.
