FATAL COLLISION – Lucas Street, St. Philip
The police at District ‘C’ Station are conducting investigations into a fatal collision, which occurred along Lucas Street, St. Philip at its junction with Sandford, on Thursday 30th April 2026 about 12:00 pm.
CIRCUMSTANCES:
Preliminary investigations have revealed that a motor van was travelling along Lucas Street in the direction of King George V Memorial Park, when the driver of the vehicle lost control and collided with a concrete structure. The male driver was transported by ambulance personnel to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. A male passenger was transported to a medical clinic for urgent medical treatment. Investigations are continuing into this matter.
