CRIMINAL CHARGES – Jelani Finidi Kemau Nowell

The Barbados Police Service (TBPS) Major Crime Unit (MCU), has arrested and formally charged Jelani Finidi Kemau Nowell, 26 years of Cliffden, Church Village, St. Philip for the following offences:
● Murder – Shane Parris January 13th 2024
● Conspiracy to Murder – Between 11th and 13th January 2024
Nowell appeared before Magistrate Bernadeth John in the District ‘C’ Magistrates’ Court on Monday 1st June 2026. He was not allowed to plead to the indictable offences and was remanded to the Barbados Prison Service (Dodds). He is scheduled to reappear on Tuesday 16th June 2026.
