UNNATURAL DEATH – Chapman Lane
The Police Operations Control received a report from an anonymous caller about 8:46 p.m. on Wednesday 3rd June 2026. The caller stated there was a shooting in Chapman Lane and a man was bleeding.
Police mobile units were dispatched to the area and initial investigations have shown that a group of men were assembled in the area of a shop along 3rd Avenue, Chapman Lane, St. Michael when an assailant approached and discharged a number of gunshots. One man was fatally injured at the scene and three other males were injured.
Two of those males were transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by Emergency Ambulance Personnel, whilst the other was transported in a private motor vehicle.
A medical doctor visited the scene, examined the body and pronounced death.
Investigations are continuing.
