UNNATURAL DEATH UPDATE – Richard Howes
The Police at Holetown Station are conducting investigations into an unnatural death which occurred off Holetown Beach, Holetown, St. James about 12:45 pm on Saturday 13th June 2026.
CIRCUMSTANCES:
Initial investigations revealed that a Barbadian registered vessel was travelling from the direction of Bridgetown towards Speightstown, when it became involved in a collision with a male snorkeling in the area. Ambulance personnel were summoned and he was transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. Investigations are continuing.
The deceased has been identified as Richard Howes, 57 years of the United Kingdom.
