CRIMINAL CHARGES – Derek Sebastian Abrahams

The Barbados Police Service (TBPS) Oistins Police Station, has arrested and formally charged Derek Sebastian Abrahams, 49 years of Windsor Road, Christ Church for the following offences committed on March 30^th 2026:

• Possession of Cannabis
• Intent to Supply Cannabis
• Trafficking Cannabis

The total estimated weight of the suspected Cannabis is 3.0 Kilograms with an estimated street value of twenty-four thousand dollars ($24,000.00 Bds) Barbados currency.

Abrahams appeared before Magistrate Douglas Frederick in the District ‘B’ Magistrates’ Court, on Tuesday 31^st March 2026. He pleaded guilty to the offences and was granted bail to the sum of five thousand dollars $5,000.00 Bds) Barbados currency. He is scheduled to reappear on Monday 4^th May 2026 for sentencing.
