CRIMINAL CHARGES – Joshua Chimiere Moses-Obah
The Barbados Police Service (TBPS) Narcotics Unit, has arrested and formally charged Joshua Chimiere Moses-Obah, 30 years of #12 Cedar Avenue, River Club, South Africa, for the following offences committed on March 30th 2026:
● Possession of Cannabis
● Intent to Supply Cannabis
● Trafficking Cannabis
● Importation of Cannabis
The total estimated weight of the suspected Cannabis is 16.8 Kilograms with an estimated street value of two hundred and sixty-eight thousand, eight hundred dollars ($268,800.00 Bds) Barbados currency.
Moses-Obah appeared before Magistrate Keitha Ellis in the District ‘B’ Magistrates’ Court, on Thursday 2nd April 2026. He pleaded guilty to the offences and was remanded to the Barbados Prison Service (Dodds). He is scheduled to reappear on Wednesday 29th April 2026 for sentencing.
