The Barbados Police Service Narcotics Unit has arrested and charged Barbadian nationals Sylverton Lewis Clarke 55 years of Emerald Park East, St. Philip, Ronaldo Jabari Carrington 33yrs of Lot 30, Lower Burney, Haggatt Hall, St. Michael and Ryan Adrian Kelly-Prescod 39yrs of Jones Road, My Lords Hill, St. Michael. They were charged for the following offenses:
- Possession
- Intent to Supply
- Trafficking
A joint maritime operation involving the French Navy, Regional Security System, The Police Narcotics Unit and the Barbados Defence Force Coast Guard Unit resulted in a Barbadian registered fishing vessel being intercepted on Wednesday 28th January 2026 off the coast of Barbados. A search of the vessel revealed 676 Kilos of cocaine with a street valued thirty-three million, eight hundred and thirty thousand dollars Barbados Currency (33,830,000.00 BC).
Clarke, Carrington and Kelly-Prescod are scheduled to appear in the District ‘A’ Court, on Tuesday 3rd February, 2026.
