CRIMINAL CHARGES UPADTE – Darion Alex Hackett
The Barbados Police Service (TBPS) Major Crime Unit (MCU) and Criminal Investigations Department (South), have arrested and formally charged Darion Alex Hackett, 34 years of Block 8E, Sorrel Lane, Eden Lodge, St. Michael for the following offences:
DISTRICT ‘C’ – 12th January 2025
● Murder – Mitch Boyce
● Serious Bodily Harm
● Endangering Life x 5
● Aggravated Criminal Damage
● Use of Firearm x 4
● Violent Disorder
DISTRICT ‘A’
● Possession of Firearm – April 1st 2026
● Possession of Ammunition (21 rounds) – April 1st 2026
Hackett appeared before Chief Magistrate Douglas Frederick in the District ‘A’ Criminal Court #1, on Monday 13th April 2026. He was not required to plead to the indictable offences and was remanded to the Barbados Prison Service (Dodds). He is scheduled to reappear on Monday 11th May 2026. The District ‘C’ matters were transferred to the District ‘C’ Magistrates’ Court for Thursday 7th May 2026.
