CRIMINAL CHARGES UPDATE – Dwayne Jamal Stanford
The Barbados Police Service (TBPS) Narcotics Unit, has arrested and formally charged Dwayne Jamal Stanford, 36 years of Black Rock, St. Michael, for the following offences committed on December 23rd 2025:
● Possession of Cannabis
● Trafficking of Cannabis
● Intent to Supply Cannabis
● Importation of Cannabis
The total estimated weight of the suspected cannabis is 9.60 Kilograms, with an estimated street value of one hundred and fifty three thousand, six hundred dollars ($153,600.00 Bds) Barbados Currency.
Stanford appeared before Magistrate Douglas Frederick in the District ‘B’ Magistrates’ Court, on Monday 29th December 2025. He pleaded not guilty to the offences and was granted bail to the sum sixty thousand dollars ($60,000.00 Bds) Barbados currency with one surety. He is scheduled to reappear on Monday 16th March 2026.
