DRUG INVESTIGATIONS – Fishing Vessel 2026-01-29

The Barbados Police Service Narcotics Unit is conducting investigations into the seizure of over 670 kg of cocaine valued at over 33 million Barbados dollars.
The drugs were found on a Barbadian registered fishing vessel which was held off the coast of Barbados around 3:45 am Thursday 29th January 2026 during an operation conducted by the Narcotics Unit and the Barbados Coast Guard.
Three Barbadians who were on board the vessel are now assisting police with their investigations.
