CRIMINAL CHARGES – Nakita Latisha Nathanya Clarke

The Barbados Police Service (TBPS) Narcotics Unit, has arrested and formally charged Nakita Latisha Nathanya Clarke, 32 years of Lot #31 Appleby, Saint James, for the following offences:

• Trafficking of Cannabis – December 29^th 2025
• Importation of Cannabis – December 29^th 2025

The total estimated weight of the suspected cannabis is 14.60 Kilograms, with an estimated street value of one hundred and sixteen thousand eight hundred dollars ($116,800.00) Barbados currency.

Clarke appeared before Magistrate Alison Burke in the District ‘A’ Criminal Court, on Wednesday 31^st December 2025. She pleaded not guilty to the offences and was granted bail to the sum of fifty thousand dollars ($50,000 Bds) Barbados currency with two sureties. She is scheduled to reappear on Friday 24^th April 2026
