The Police Operations Control received a report about 3:45 am, on Thursday 2nd April 2026, about a shooting in the area of Long Gap, St. Michael.
CIRCUMSTANCES:
Initial investigations have revealed that two males were walking along the road, when they were approached by a group of persons clad in dark clothing, wearing masks and brandishing a firearm. They demanded valuables from the two males and discharged a gunshot injuring one of them. The injured male was transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) by private motor vehicle. Investigations are continuing.
