Theft of Motorcar – Makai Chrishon James

1. The Barbados Police Service (TBPS) Major Crime Unit (MCU), has arrested and formally charged Makai Chrishon James, 20 years of Pegwell Boggs, Christ Church for the following offence:

• Theft of Motor Car – Rico Depeiza December 5th 2024

The estimated value of the stolen property is sixty-eight thousand dollars ($68,000.00 Bds) Barbados currency.

James appeared before Chief Magistrate Ian Weekes in the District ‘A’ Criminal Court No. 1, on Saturday 20th December 2025. He was not required to plead to the indictable offence and was granted bail to the sum of eight thousand dollars ($8,000.00 Bds) Barbados currency. The matter was transferred to the District ‘A’ Criminal Court No. 2, for Wednesday 14th January 2026.
