CRIMINAL CHARGES – Deron Akoya Daisley

The Barbados Police Service (TBPS) Serious Organised Crime Unit (SOCU) and Tactical Response Unit (TRU), have arrested and formally charged Deron Akoya Daisley, 28 years of Gemswick, St. Phillip for the following offences:

DISTRICT ‘C’

• Possession of Firearm – May 12^th 2026
• Possession of Ammunition (7 rounds) – May 12^th 2026

DISTRICT ‘A’

• Handling Stolen Property – Between 8^th and 13^th February 2025

Dailey appeared before Chief Magistrate Douglas Frederick in the District ‘A’ Criminal Court #1, on Monday 18^th May 2026. He was not allowed to plead to the indictable offences and was remanded to the Barbados Prison Service (Dodds). He is scheduled to appear in the District ‘C’ Magistrates’ Court on Monday 15^th June 2026.
