WANTED MAN – Dareo Theo Mitchell
The Barbados Police Service (TBPS) is seeking the assistance of the general public, in locating Dareo Theo Mitchell, who is wanted for questioning in connection with serious criminal matters.
Mitchell, whose last known address is Chelston Garden, Culloden Road, St Michael is approximately five feet (5’) in height, slim build and brown complexion.
Dareo Theo Mitchell is advised that he can present himself to the Criminal Investigations Department (South) at the Oistins Police Station, Oistins, Christ Church accompanied by an attorney-at-law of his choice.
Any person, who may know the whereabouts of Dareo Theo Mitchell, is asked to contact the Criminal Investigations Department (South) at telephone numbers 418-2608 or 418-2612, Police Emergency at 211, Crime Stoppers at 1 800-8477 or the nearest police station.
Members of the public are also reminded that it is a serious offence to harbour or assist wanted persons; any person caught committing this offence can be prosecuted.
IN CUSTODY – Robert Ricardo Parris
Robert Ricardo Parris alias “Angry Bird” of # 31 Upper Crescent, Christ Church, who was the subject of a “Wanted Man” bulletin, issued on Monday 16th February 2026, in connection with serious criminal matters, is now in police custody.
On Monday 16th February 2026, he was brought into police custody and is currently assisting police personnel with their investigations.

● Endangering Life – 2 Counts 16th June, 2025
● Unlawful Use of Firearm – 16th June, 2025
● Murder – Anderson Calderon 16th June, 2025
● Robbery – Jason Chandler 12th September, 2025 of items totalling $14,980.00 Barbados Currency
● Robbery – Andrew Lewis 2nd October, 2025 of item valued at $2500.00 Barbados Currency.
● Serious Bodily Harm – Andrew Lewis 2nd October, 2025
● Unlawful Use of Firearm – 2nd October, 2025
Gilkes appeared before Chief Magistrate Deidre Mckenna in the Oistins Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday 18th February, 2026. He was not required to plead to the indictable offences and was remanded to the Barbados Prison Service (Dodds). He is scheduled to reappear on Tuesday 17th March, 2026 at the District ‘A’ Traffic Court

UNNATURAL DEATH – Shamar Corey Alleyne
Police at the Criminal Investigations Department, Bridgetown are conducting investigations into a shooting which occurred about 1:40 p.m. on Tuesday 17th February 2026 at 3rd Avenue Chapman Lane St. Michael.
Investigations revealed that a male was sitting in the area commonly referred to as the ‘Canal’ when two individuals approached and flanked him, then discharged a number of gunshots injuring him in the process. A medical doctor visited the scene, examined the body and pronounced death. The deceased has been identified by a relative as Shamar Corey Alleyne, 29 years of Greenpoint St. Philip.
Investigations are continuing.

TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT – PARADE REHEARSAL FOR THE REOPENING OF PARLIAMENT
On Wednesday, 18th February, 2026, a parade rehearsal for the reopening of parliament, will be held at The Parliament Buildings, Bridgetown, St. Michael. As a result, a number of traffic changes will take effect from 5:00 pm to 7:30 pm.
ROAD CLOSURES
The following roads will be closed between 5:00 pm and 7:30 pm:
a) Upper Broad Street
b) Trafalgar Street
c) Wharf Road
d) Rickett Street
TRAFFIC DELAYS
Expect traffic delays along the following roads:
a) Coleridge Street
b) Magazine Lane
c) Broad Street
d) Bridge Street
e) Roebuck Street
f) Tudor Street
TRAFFIC DIVERSIONS
a) Traffic travelling along lower Broad Street, must turn left at the junction with Prince William Henry Street.
b) Traffic travelling along St. Michaels Row will either make the right onto Marhill Street towards Roebuck Street or the left onto Bridge Street towards Fairchild Street.
c) Traffic travelling along Bay Street onto Lower Fairchild Street before the traffic lights, will continue onto Upper Fairchild Street towards John Beckles Drive.
OFFENCES
Any person who contravenes these rules or fails to comply with any order given by a member of The Barbados Police Service in uniform, is guilty of an offence and is liable on summary conviction, to a fine of five hundred dollars ($500BDS) or to imprisonment for a term of three (3) months.
These rules do not apply to vehicles used by The Barbados Police Service, the Barbados Defence Force, the Barbados Fire Service, or any emergency vehicle.
Police Officers will also be deployed on the day, to assist with all traffic management.
