WANTED MAN – Derick David Rudolph Crawford
The Barbados Police Service is seeking the assistance of the general public in locating Derick David Rudolph Crawford, who is wanted for questioning in connection with serious criminal matters.
Crawford, whose last known address is #12 Lakes Close, Eden Lodge, St Michael is approximately five feet eight inches (5’ 8”) in height, of a dark complexion and muscular build.
Derick David Rudolph Crawford is advised that he can present himself to the Criminal Investigations Department (C.I.D.) of the Northern Division, District ‘E’ Police Station, Major Walk, Speightstown, St. Peter accompanied by an attorney-at-law of his choice.
Any person, who may know the whereabouts of Derick David Rudolph Crawford, is asked to contact C.I.D. Northern Division at telephone numbers 422-0813 or 419-1737, Police Emergency at 211, Crime Stoppers at 1 800-8477 or the nearest police station
Members of the public are also reminded that it is a serious offence to harbour or assist wanted persons; any person caught committing this offence can be prosecuted.
FATAL ROAD TRAFFIC COLLISION – Carrington Road St. Philip
Police at District C Station are conducting investigations into a fatal collision which occurred about 2:45 p.m. Sunday January 4th, 2026 along Carrington Road St. Philip involving two motor cars.
Preliminary investigations have revealed that the two vehicles were traveling in opposite directions when they were involved in a collision.
Two persons who were traveling in one of the vehicles succumbed to injuries at the scene, two other occupants of that car were transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by ambulance to seek medical attention. The driver of the other vehicle has sought private medical attention.
Investigations are continuing into the collision.
We are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this collision to contact the District C Police Station at 416-8200.
TRACED WOMAN – Dr. Sonia Linette Richards
Dr. Sonia Linette Richards, 69 years of No. 21B, West Terrace Gardens, St. James, who was reported missing on Sunday 4th January 2026, has been traced and is safe.

MISSING WOMAN – Dr. Sonia Linette Richards
Police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating missing woman Dr. Sonia Linette Richards, 69 years of No. 21B, West Terrace Gardens, St. James, who was last seen about 8:40 pm, on Friday 2nd January 2026.
DESCRIPTION:
Dr. Richards is about five feet one inch (5’1”) in height, medium built, dark complexion, has black and silver hair and wears glasses. She is well spoken with a pleasant manner and walks with an erect appearance. Richards was last seen wearing a dark blue T-Shirt, ¾ shorts and a pair of pink and white Sketchers softwear.
Anyone knowing the whereabouts of Dr. Sonia Linette Richards, is asked to contact the Holetown Police Station at 419-1700 or 419-1701, Police Emergency at 211, Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIPS (8477), or any police station.

The Barbados Police Service (TBPS) Major Crime Unit (MCU), has arrested and formally charged Dion Davidson Leacock, 18 years of No. 21, Dover Crescent, Cave Hill, St. Michael for the following offences.
- Possession of Firearm – December 27th 2025
- Possession of Ammunition (7) – December 27th 2025
Leacock appeared before Magistrate Alison Burke in the District ‘A’ Traffic Court on Saturday 3rd January 2026. He was not required to plead to the indictable offences and was remanded to the Barbados Prison Service (Dodds). He is scheduled to reappear on Friday 30th January 2026.
CRIMINAL CHARGES – Dion Davidson Leacock
The Barbados Police Service (TBPS) Major Crime Unit (MCU), has arrested and formally charged Dion Davidson Leacock, 18 years of No. 21, Dover Crescent, Cave Hill, St. Michael for the following offences.
- Possession of Firearm – December 27th 2025
- Possession of Ammunition (7) – December 27th 2025
Leacock is scheduled to appear in the District ‘A’ Criminal Court on Saturday 3rd January 2026.
CRIMINAL CHARGES – Hassan Gregg O’Neil Alleyne
The Barbados Police Service (TBPS) Narcotics Unit, has arrested and formally charged Hassan Gregg O’Neil Alleyne, 40 years of Grants Ave, Bayville, St. Michael for the following offences committed on December 30th 2025:
Possession of Cannabis
- Trafficking of Cannabis
- Intent to Supply Cannabis
- Importation of Cannabis
The total estimated weight of the suspected cannabis is 3.20 Kilograms, with an estimated street value of twenty-five thousand six hundred dollars ($25,600.00 Bds) Barbados currency.
Alleyne appeared before Magistrate Douglas Frederick in the District ‘B’ Magistrates’ Court, on Friday 2nd January 2026. He pleaded guilty to the offences and was fined ten thousand dollars ($10,000.00 Bds) Barbados currency, to be paid in three (3) months or be sentenced to nine (9) months at the Barbados Prison Service (Dodds).
MURDER UPDATE – Malik Isiah Blackman
The Barbados Police Service (TBPS) Criminal Investigations Department (District ‘A’), has arrested and formally charged Malik Isiah Blackman 16 years of 4th Avenue Park Road, Bush Hall, St. Michael for the following offence:
- Murder – Andy Arthur December 21st 2025
Blackman appeared before Magistrate Alison Burke in the District ‘A’ Traffic Court on Friday 2nd January 2026. He was not required to plead to the indictable offence and was remanded to the Barbados Prison Service (Dodds). He is scheduled to reappear on Friday 30th January 2026.

The Barbados Police Service (TBPS) Criminal Investigations Department (District ‘A’), has arrested and formally charged Adae Xavier Scott, 17 years of Military Road, Bush Hall, St. Michael for the following offence:
- Murder – Timothy Trotman December 22nd 2025
Scott appeared before Magistrate Alison Burke in the District ‘A’ Traffic Court on Friday 2nd January 2026. He was not required to plead to the indictable offence and was remanded to the Barbados Prison Service (Dodds). He is scheduled to reappear on Friday 30th January 2026.
