Police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating missing girl Shakira Hinkson, 14 years of #27 Meadowvale Heights, Prior Park, St. James, a 4th form student of the Parkinson Memorial school, who was last seen about 7:07 a.m on Friday 27th February, 2026.
DESCRIPTION:
Shakira is approximately five feet two inches (5’ 2”) in height, slim build, brown complexion, small head, big eyes, thin lips, thick eyebrows, pointed nose, pointed chin, small breasted, muscular arms and legs and bow legged. Her ear lobes are pierced twice on both lobes. She has a medium length braided hairstyle, she has a visible scar on her right forearm and speaks with a Barbadian accent. She was last seen wearing her school uniform being a green pleated skirt, yellow shirt, green and yellow belt, brown socks and brown shoes.
Hinkson is known to frequents 1st Ave Waithe Road, Greens, St George, Fernihurst, Black Rock, St. Michael and Oxnards Crescent, St. James areas.
Anyone knowing the whereabouts of Shakira Hinkson, is asked to contact the Holetown Police Station at 419-1700, Police Emergency at 211, Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIPS (8477), or any police station.
The Police at District A Station are conducting investigations into a stabbing incident which occurred about 3:30 p.m. on Sunday 1st March 2026 at Lower Bridge Gap, Cave Hill, St. Michael.
Initial investigations revealed that a male was walking along a track when he was approached by another male who inflicted a number of stab wounds to his body. Police assistance was sought and on they arrival, they found the lifeless body of a male. Medical assistance was summoned, a medical doctor visited the scene and pronounced death.
A person of interest who has a psychiatric history is now assisting the police with the investigation.

Julia Angela Layne, 56 years of #38 Golden Circle Amity Lodge, Rendezvous Christ Church, who was reported missing on Friday 27th February, 2026, has been traced and is safe.

The police operations control received a report about 1:36 a.m. on Sunday 1st March 2026 of the body of a male lying at Chapman Cross Street, St. Michael.
Initial investigations have shown that the male was in a bar in the immediate area when he was involved in a verbal altercation with another person. He subsequently left the bar, then gunshots were heard. On the arrival of the police medical assistance was sought, a medical doctor visited the scene and pronounced death.
Investigations are continuing.

Police received a report about 1:04 a.m. on Sunday 1st March 2026 of gunshots being discharged in the area of a business establishment at Cox Road, Frere Pilgrim, Christ Church.
Investigations revealed that a number of gunshots were heard and a male who attended an event at the establishment was discovered laying in the carpark near to the establishment. He was transported by a private motor vehicle to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
Investigations are continuing.

On Saturday 28th February 2026, he was brought into police custody and is currently assisting police personnel with their investigations.

Jordan, whose last known address is Wiltshire Avenue, Bayfield, St. Philip, is six feet two inches (6’2”) in height, brown complexion and is slim built with a long dreadlock hairstyle. On his left arm, he has a tattoo with an image of a wall, with his alias ‘GAS’ at the top. A separate tattoo on the same arm has the words ‘Honor, Yolo and Loyalty’ in a strategic pattern.
Jordan is advised that he can present himself to the Criminal Investigations Department (South), Oistins Police Station, Oistins, Christ Church, accompanied by an attorney-at-law of his choice.
