BLACKMAIL – Robert Dacosta Walker

The Barbados Police Service (TBPS) Criminal Investigations Department (South), has arrested and formally charged Robert Dacosta Walker, McCleans Gap, Brittons Hill, St. Michael for the following offence.

 

  • Blackmail – Graham Allen between 15th and 17th January 2026

 

The total value of the money is sixty-five thousand dollars ($65,000.00 Bds) Barbados currency.

 

Walker appeared before Magistrate Alison Burke in the District ‘A’ Traffic Court on Saturday 24th January 2026. He was not required to plead to the indictable offence and was remanded to the Barbados Prison Service (Dodds). The matter was transferred to the District ‘A’ Criminal Court No.1, for Friday 20th February 2026.

UNNATURAL DEATH – Mohamed Kamall
Police at District ‘C’ Station are conducting investigations into an unnatural death which occurred at Crane Beach St. Philip on Saturday 24th January 2026.
 
Preliminary investigations have shown that a vistor to the island went into the water and got into difficulties. He was later seen floating on the water. The body was brought to shore around 7:40 am and medical attention was administered but he succumbed at the scene.
 
A medical doctor visited the scene, examined the body and pronounced death. The deceased has been identified as Mohamed Kamall 63 years a Canadian Visitor who was staying at Crane Apartments, St. Philip.
 
Investigations are continuing.
WANTED MAN – Ricardo Cortez Browne

The Barbados Police Service is seeking the assistance of the general public in locating Ricardo Cortez Browne, 67 years, alias ‘Ricky’ who is wanted for questioning in connection with serious criminal matters.

 

Browne, whose last known address is Coral Land, Haggatt Hall, St. Michael is approximately five feet ten inches (5’ 10”) in height, brown complexion, medium built and has a bulbous nose.

 

Ricardo Cortez Browne is advised that he can present himself to the Black Rock Police Station accompanied by an attorney-at-law of his choice.

 

Any person, who may know the whereabouts of Ricardo Cortez Browne, is asked to contact the Black Rock Police Station at Telephone number 417-7500 or 417-7505, Police Emergency at 211, Crime Stoppers at 429-8787 or the nearest police station.

 

Members of the public are also reminded that it is a serious offence to harbour or assist wanted persons; any person caught committing this offence can be prosecuted.

NARCOTICS – Anthony Francis Lerius

The Barbados Police Service (TBPS) Narcotics Unit, has arrested and formally charged Anthony Francis Lerius, 42 years of Upper Wellington Street, St. Michael for the following offence:

      

  • Acts Preparatory for the Purpose of Trafficking – Between December 1st 2025 and January 16th 2026.

 

The total estimated weight of the suspected cannabis is 28 Kilograms, with an estimated street value of four hundred and forty-eight thousand dollars ($448,000.00 Bds) Barbados currency.

Lerius appeared before Chief Magistrate (ag) Deidre McKenna in the Oistins Magistrates’ Court on Friday 23rd January 2026. He pleaded not guilty to the offence and was remanded to the Barbados Prison Service (Dodds). He is scheduled to reappear on Monday 26th January 2026.

STABBING INCIDENT – Gibbs St. Peter

The police at District ‘E’ Station are conducting investigations into a stabbing which occurred about 11:00 am, on Thursday 22nd January 2026, along Gibbs St. Peter.

CIRCUMSTANCES:

Initial investigations have shown that there was a dispute on a worksite involving two males, which resulted in one receiving stab wounds. The victim was transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) by ambulance personnel, where he is currently receiving medical attention. A suspect is in police custody assisting with investigations.

Investigations are continuing.

PERSON OF INTEREST – (Hastings/Worthings) 2026-01-22

The Barbados Police Service (TBPS) is seeking the assistance of the public in identifying and locating a person of interest. He is wanted for questioning in connection with a serious criminal matter.

UNNATURAL DEATH UPDATE- Pegwell Boggs, Christ Church.

Police at Oistins Station are conducting investigations into a fatal shooting, which occurred about 1:35 pm on Wednesday 21st January 2026, along Pegwell Boggs, Christ Church.

Initial investigations revealed that a group of persons were gathered in the area, when a motor vehicle approached. An occupant of that vehicle exited and discharged a number of gunshots at the gathering before fleeing the scene. One man received injuries and collapsed a short distance away outside of a residence. A medical doctor visited the scene, examined the body and pronounced death.

The deceased was subsequently identified by a relative as Dwayne Ryan Omar Ceasar, 44 years of Callenders Gardens, Christ Church. Investigations are continuing.

FATAL COLLISION – Fitts Village, St. James

The Police at Holetown Station are conducting investigations into a fatal collision which occurred about 9:05 a.m. along Fitts Village, St. James involving a public service vehicle (PSV).

Preliminary investigations have shown that the PSV was travelling from Bridgetown to Speightstown, when a male occupant of that vehicle collided with a utility pole and succumbed to his injuries at the scene. A medical doctor examined the body and pronounced death.

The deceased was identified by a relative as Donniko Griffith, 33 years of Pie Corner, St. Lucy. Investigations are continuing.

TRACED MAN – Kaleb Ottley

Kaleb Ottley, 18 years of Waverley Cot, Ellerton, St. George, who was reported missing on Wednesday 21st January 2026, has been traced and is safe.

MISSING MAN – Kaleb Ottley

 

Police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating missing man Kaleb Ottley, 18 years of Waverley Cot, Ellerton St. George who was last seen about 6:50 am, on Monday 19th January 2026. 

DESCRIPTION:

Kaleb Ottley is about five feet seven inches (5’ 7”) in height, slim built, dark complexion with small eyes, a bulbous nose and thin lips. He has a small scar on his left side of his neck and was last seen wearing a short blue beach pants and a grey T-shirt. Ottley suffers from a psychological disorder and is in the habit of walking away from home. He walks with an erect appearance and speaks with a Vincentian accent.
