The Barbados Police Service (TBPS) Narcotics Unit, has arrested and formally charged Ocean Maat Lolita Hinds, 18 years of Lammings, St. Joseph, for the following offences committed on December 5th 2025:
● Possession of Cannabis
● Trafficking of Cannabis
● Intent to Supply Cannabis
● Importation of Cannabis
The total estimated weight of the suspected cannabis is 22.80 Kilograms, with an estimated street value of one hundred and eighty-two thousand four hundred dollars ($182,400.00 Bds) Barbados currency.
Hinds is scheduled to appear in the District ‘B’ Magistrates’ Court, on Monday 8th December 2025.

The total estimated weight of the suspected cannabis is 4.7 Kilograms, with an estimated street value of thirty-seven thousand six hundred dollars ($37,600.00 Bds) Barbados currency.
Nanton is scheduled to appear in the District ‘B’ Magistrates’ Court, on Monday 8th December 2025.

Sutherland appeared before Chief Magistrate Ian Weekes in the District ‘A’ Criminal Court, on Saturday 6th December 2025. He was not required to plead to the indictable offences and was remanded to the Barbados Prison Service (Dodds). The matter has been transferred to the District ‘B’ Magistrates’ Court for Monday 15th December 2025.

Police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating the family, caregiver, or guardian of Cuthbert A Greaves, 76 years, who was discovered wandering in the area of Weymouth, St. Michael on Thursday 4th December 2025 about 8:00 pm.
DESCRIPTION:
Greaves is about five feet eight inches (5’ 8”) in height, of a slim build, dark complexion, big ears, medium mouth with two gold caps on the bottom row of his teeth and a protruding jaw. He has a low haircut and a low grey beard. Greaves was discovered wearing a short khaki cargo pants, an orange and white striped T- shirt, and barefooted. He also has a catheter installed.

Cox appeared before Chief Magistrate Ian Weekes in the District ‘A’ Criminal Court No. 1, on Tuesday 2nd December 2025. He pleaded guilty to the offence and was sentenced to six (6) months at the Barbados Prison Service (Dodds).

The police at Oistins Station, are conducting investigations into a shooting, which occurred along Maxwell, Christ Church, on Monday 1st December 2025, about 11:40pm.
CIRCUMSTANCES:
Initial investigations have shown that a male had arrived at his residence, when he was confronted by an assailant with a firearm. A number of gunshots were discharged injuring him.
He was transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by private motor car, where he is currently receiving medical treatment. Investigations are continuing into this matter.
