IN CUSTODY – Shane Anthony Greene

Shane Anthony Greene, who was the subject of a “Wanted Man” bulletin, issued on Saturday, 23rd May 2026, in connection with serious criminal matters, is now in police custody.

On Sunday, 24th May 2026, he presented himself to the Oistins Police Station accompanied by an attorney at law and is currently assisting police personnel with their investigations.

The Barbados Police Service (TBPS) wishes to thank the general public and the media for their assistance in this matter.

MISSING GIRL – Tia Gittens

The Barbados Police Service is seeking the assistance of the general public in locating missing girl Tia Gittens 14 years, a ward of the Child Care Board, who was last seen on the 22nd May 2026. She was admitted to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) and left without being discharged.

DESCRIPTION:
Gittens is approximately five feet four inches (5’ 4”) in height, slim built and of a brown complexion. At the time she was wearing long grey sweat pants, a black sweater and a pair of slippers.

Any person, who may know the whereabouts of Tia Gittens, is asked to contact the Central Police Station, at telephone numbers 430-7676 or 430-7630, Police Emergency at 211, Crime Stoppers at 1 800-8477 or the nearest police station.

CRIMINAL CHARGES UPDATE – Brandon Ackeem Devonish, Wade Tristan Holder, Tyrique Nickiel Stuart and Ramone Henderson Griffith

The Barbados Police Service (TBPS) Serious Organised Crime Unit (SOCU), has arrested and formally charged Brandon Ackeem Devonish, 24 years of Good Intent, St George, Wade Tristan Holder, 24 years of Charles Rowe Bridge, St George, Tyrique Nickiel Stuart, 24 years and Ramone Henderson Griffith, 33 years both of Lowthers Hill, Christ Church for the following offences:

  • Burglary – Between 12th and 13th May 2026 Total value of stolen property – $12,220.00 Bds

Devonish, Holder, Stuart and Griffith appeared before Magistrate Cuffy Sargeant in the Holetown Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday 26th May 2026. They were not allowed to plead to the indictable offences and were remanded to the Barbados Prison Service (Dodds). They are scheduled to reappear on Tuesday 23rd June 2026. The Oistins and District ‘C’ matters have been transferred to the Oistins and District ‘C’ Magistrates’ Courts for Friday 12th June 2026.

The Barbados Police Service (TBPS) Criminal Investigations Department (North), has arrested and formally charged Dwayne Demar Garnes, 38 years of Block 20D Haynesville, St. James for the following offence:

Garnes appeared before Magistrate Cuffy Sargeant in the Holetown Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday 26th May 2026. He was not required to plead to the indictable offence and was remanded to the Barbados Prison Service (Dodds). He is scheduled to reappear on Tuesday 23rd June 2026.

The Barbados Police Service (TBPS) Criminal Investigations Department (Central), has arrested and formally charged Joshua Greg Belgrave, 21 years of St. Hill Road, Carrington Village, St. Michael, Addagio Marlon Bostic, 18 years of Laynes Gap, Martindales Road, St. Michael, Leonardo Ricardo Allsopp, 26 years of Grassfield Gap, Stevenson Road, Delamare Land, St. Michael, Chad Seon Codrington, 18 years of Licorish Village, My Lords Hill, St. Michael, Donte Ricardo Sealy, 18 years of Carrington Village, Murrals Road, St. Michael, Seth Ethan Griffith, 23 years of Blackmans Road, Carrington Village, St. Michael and three (3) male juveniles for the following offences:

 

  • Serious Bodily Harm – May 17th 2026
  • Robbery x 2 – May 17th 2026
  • Violent Disorder – May 17th 2026

PUBLIC NOTICE – SCAMMER ALERT

The Barbados Police Service is urging members of the public to remain vigilant as scammers continue to target individuals and businesses through fraudulent messages, phone calls, fake notices and online schemes.

It has been brought to our attention that persons are receiving communications falsely claiming to be from official agencies and requesting personal information, payments or account verification. These scams are designed to create panic and pressure individuals into acting without verifying the authenticity of the request.

The Barbados Police Service reminds the public that official government agencies and law enforcement departments will not request payments, banking details or sensitive personal information through suspicious links, unofficial websites, text messages or social media platforms.

Members of the public are encouraged to:
• Verify the identity of anyone requesting information or money
• Avoid clicking suspicious links or downloading unknown attachments
• Never share banking details, passwords or personal information with unverified persons
• Be cautious of messages creating urgency or threatening penalties
• Report suspicious activity immediately to the police

Scammers are becoming increasingly sophisticated. Stay alert, think before you act and help protect your family, friends and community from fraud.

PUBLIC NOTICE – SCAMMER ALERT

It has been drawn to the attention of the Barbados Police Service that there is a notice circulating purporting to be a Final Notice of Administrative Penalty for Traffic Violations. It states that a violation record has been officially verified and entered into the Barbados Police Force database and is asking persons to log in and settle payment online.

Please note that this is not an official notice and at no time will the Barbados Police Service send any request in relation to the payment of money. A full and thorough investigation into this matter will be conducted.
